It’s been few years since the production of the movie “A Walk to Remember” but I only had the chance few months back to have a look at it. Frankly I believe it’s as one of the most inspiring films. The story is very much romantic, but at the same time the bitter sadness of loosing the loved girl (Jamie) of Landon runs behind the play. Yet it is not to be consider as a film with a tragic ending. I say this because it’s not the death of Jamie which is highlighted in the film. In fact it is not even shown but narrated. The fact highlighted is that true love can really change the way of a person. The character of Landon is the one which is brought to good from bad. Jamie is the sole reason behind it. She teach him the way of life and its meaning informally which is carved into Landon’s heart. The film also emphasizes the value of forgiveness. Thus as a whole this film really fits to its tag line of ” Love is like the wind. You cannot see it but you can always feel it”. My view is that the departure of Jamie gives more value to the word “feel”.
